Macon, IL (July 2, 2009) - Mark finished 3rd in his Heat race on Thursday night at Macon Speedway, transferring to the 10th starting spot of the 100 lap Feature event. On roughly lap 17, a car slowed on the speedway, and the #30 couldn't stop in time to avoid contact. The car was severly damaged and could not continue. Voigt had been running in the top 10 at the time, but would have to settle for 20th place. He will return to Tri-City on Friday and I-55 on Saturday.

Highland, IL (July 1, 2009) - The #30 Late Model started July right where it left off in June Wednesday night at the Highland Speedway. Voigt was fast qualifier in his his group at his hometown speedway. Taking the green from the pole in his Heat, Mark cruised to vicory leading flag to flag. After a redraw for positions, Voigt would start on the outside of row 1, opposite of eventual winner Jeep Van Wormer. Running a little harder tire, the #30 would fade back early, but started to regain spots around lap 10 as the tires started to come in. Voigt eventually passed back everyone but Van Wormer and Mark Faust to finish 3rd. With a couple of more laps Voigt may have had something more for the leaders, but ran out of time as the checkered waved.

Lincoln, IL (June 28, 2009) - Mark rejoined the Summernational tour Sunday night after winning Features locally on Friday and Saturday night. Voigt started the evening in a loaded Heat race, starting 7th, but finishing 5th. Missing the transfer by one spot, Voigt would start the #30 on the front row of the B-Main. From green to checkered Voigt maintained the lead, putting him on row 9 for the Feature. The 17th starting position wouldn't contain him for long, as he passed 7 competitors on the way to a 10th place finish.

Pevely, MO (June 27, 2009) - For the second time this year, Voigt completed a weekend sweep at local tracks. Mark picked up his second straigt Feature win Saturday at I-55 Raceway. The Feature win was Voigt's sixth of the year, and fifth in June.

Pontoon Beach, IL (June 26, 2009) - Tri-City Speedway held its Mid-Season championship on Friday night, and current points leader Mark Voigt was on hand to defend his lead. The evening started with Voigt finishing 3rd in his Heat race, and 5th in the Dash. In the Feature, Mark found himself in what is becoming familiar territory at the 3/8 mile oval - victory lane. For the 3rd straight Friday night, the #30 was fastest to the checkered, notching his 3rd victory of the year at the speedway, and 5th overall.

Pontoon Beach, IL (June 24, 2009) - Hopes were high for the Voigt Racing team on Wednesday night at Tri-City Speedway, as Mark had won the last two Super Late Model features at the track. The main event would see Voigt's #30 move up three positions to finish 9th, giving him his second straight top 10 finish in the Summernationals.

In 9 Summernational events to date, Mark has qualified for 4 Features, placing in the top 10 three times, with a high finish of 5th.

Charleston, IL (June 23, 2009) - On Tuesday night in Charleston, Voigt rejoined the Summernationals tour. The #30 Late Model was 5th fastest in the third qualifying group.
